WOODS EDGE FARM HISTORY

When I retired we moved to our seven acre spread in the country. For several years I just cut grass, did some gardening, and worked in my woodshop. I also accompanied my wife, who was not ready to retire, on some of her business trips.
It was on one of these trips that we ran across some small goats that we immediately fell in love with. These were some small brush goats that we named Bonney and Clyde. It wasn't long before we went to unregistered Pygmy goats and then to registered Pygmy goats.
Now, after many hours of building barns and fences, we have a herd that we are very proud of. Our herd consists of goats from Whirlwind Farms, Picaroon's, Azure Springs,Raby's Hillside Acres, Buddie Butties, BJ's Happy Goats, and a few more from various places.
We belong to several goat clubs which sponsor shows throughout the year. Our animals have won many ribbons. We have enjoyed these events and have made many friends.
Needless to say, my time now is spent rasing and looking after these special little animals.
